Mikal

Swedish born DJ/producer MIKAL , currently based in Bath , UK , grew up in South London and caught the DJ'ing bug back in 1996 as a regular on pirate radio. Listening to all kinds of music as he grew up , Hip hop had a big influence on him and then of course dNb. He began producing in 2004 and after a couple of years learning his craft his first releases came in 2007 on Nu Urban..
Fast forward to 2010 and half a dozen singles later , his music has received support from the likes of FABIO / GROOVERIDER /BUKEM / DOC SCOTT and HYPE ..
Having released on Nu Urban , Pristine and his own MIKAL label his SOUNdTRAX debut is ready to drop..Hotly tipped as 'one to watch' , Mikal's future in the scene looks promising.
Excellent production and an ability to master many different styles within dNb , from a driving liquid sound thru a dUbwise vibe and more recently dropping some seriously stripped down grooves we are proud to add him to the SOUNdTRAX family.
